The washrooms at Veteran's Point in Ajax will be out of service for five days later this month while the Town carries out maintenance.
According to a notice on the Town of Ajax website, the facilities will be closed from Thursday, Oct. 22 through Monday, Oct. 26. Monday is listed as the final day of the closure.
Portable washrooms will be set up at the site during the work, the notice says, and the Town apologized for any inconvenience to visitors.
The closure falls within the town's municipal election voting period. The notice reminds residents they can vote by internet or telephone from Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. until Oct. 26 at 8 p.m., with details posted on the Town's dedicated election website.
Anyone planning a visit to Veteran's Point during the closure window can use the portable facilities provided on site, the Town said.
